It's still largely a work-in-progress and they're adding new features all the time (they're pushing frequent updates), but I think the desktop version will probably end up with a lot of capabilities that you see in the web version in the future. not sure it is better than the desktop program, but I live in my browser for most other apps and it is very useful to bookmark notes to quickly load them when I need to make a change. When I do make a plain note, I'm fine with the basic formatting offered by Evernote. I like the new Evernote Web a lot as well. I use it primarily as a document repository, and many of my notes are scanned PDF documents, attached images and other files, or web clips. I don't really suffer much from Evernote's lack of rich editing. I like having multiple notes open, spread out across my screen (that's my biggest reason why, anyway). To create a new note, simply click on the Everpad app indicator and select “Create Note” or click on an existing note to edit it.I use and prefer the desktop version. Once it does, click on it and select “Settings & Management” then “Authorise” to configure Everpad with your Evernote account. You will then see the app indicator appear on your panel. Once installed all you need to do is search for ‘Everpad’ in the Unity Dash and then run the Everpad application.
